FALSE PRETENCES
FALSE PRETENCES
Don't fat for my,
False pretences,
What might seem,
Is not always so.
The bark seems assembled,
But the inside, is a whole mess.
No one to just,
When everything is low.
A chameleon, if blamed,
For having no true self.
But behind its camouflage,
Its too scared, to unveil itself.
So, as hidden away,
Behind dark covers,
From the broken pieces,
It could never recover.
They pushed you down,
They dropped you low,
But your will,
Made you show.
Now the same,
Shatters you,
And what's prominent,
Is what you can't do.
